Information for receiving authorities
For embassies, immigration services and public bodies that receive our translations.
Checking a certificate
- By QR code
- The QR code printed on the certificate opens its record on this site. The certificate number and verification ID follow the # sign in the address, which browsers do not send to any server.
- By certificate number and verification ID
- Enter them on the verification page. Both are printed on the certificate and at the foot of every page of the translation.
- By the PDF
- The verification page compares, inside your browser, the PDF you hold with the SHA-256 fingerprint of the file we issued.
- By API
- A single HTTPS request returns the signed record as JSON, as in the example below.
What a result means
- Valid
- Issued by us and in force.
- Withdrawn
- Issued by us and withdrawn on the date shown. It must not be relied on.
- No match
- No certificate matches the certificate number and verification ID. Write to us before relying on the document.
- Corrected translations
- A corrected translation keeps the certificate number and the verification ID and receives a new revision number. The record always shows the revision in force; a copy of an earlier revision is not in force, and the verification page recognises it as such.
- Certificates issued before 17 October 2026
- Their QR code holds the certificate data rather than a link; their records are online and open with the certificate number and verification ID. The fingerprint shown is that of the file on record.
Written confirmation and suspected documents
To have a certificate confirmed in writing, or to report a document you suspect, write to verify@globallinguaeg.com quoting the certificate number and the verification ID, or call +20 2 3765 4321 · +20 100 123 4567.
Certificates are signed by Ahmed Hassan, Managing Director and Authorised Signatory.
